9to5mac previously reported that a new MacBook Pro refresh coming as early as next week. This MacBook Pro refresh will not be the expected re-designed models but it will come with faster processors and more storage.

Today, the site revealed the specs of the upcoming MacBook Pro refresh:

Mac OS X 10.6.8 Now Available

Apple has just released a new version of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, reaching version 10.6.8. The update is available now in the Software Update control panel, or Apple’s website. Among various bug fixes including issues with Preview and the well-known Mac Defender malware, 10.6.8 “enhances” the Mac App Store to get it ready for Lion in July.

Next-Generation MacBook Air to Include Black Option?

Apple is widely believed to be set to introduce new Sandy Bridge-based MacBook Air models in the very near future, with a variety of sources over the past few months having pegged the refresh for a June-July timeframe.
