As I reported you few minutes ago, Dev-team
was successfully able to release first jailbreak for iOS 5, dev-team
has released Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 tethered jailbreak for Mac only so far.
Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 download links, supported devices and full details after
the jump. Please read the entire article as there's some restrictions
and advices that you should be aware.
iOS jailbreak - Supported Devices :- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- iPad 1
- iPhone3GS
- iPhone4 (GSM)
- iPhone4 (CDMA)
Important Notes : UNLOCKERS AND THOSE
PRESERVING THEIR UNLOCKABLE BASEBANDS SHOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS!
You will very likely lose your unlockable baseband if you try to
install iOS 5.
THIS JAILBREAK IS INTENDED ONLY FOR
DEVELOPERS OF JAILBROKEN APPS! There are just too many broken
components (Apple’s official apps, 3rd-party App Store apps, Cydia
apps, MobileSubstrate apps, etc) for this to be useful to anyone but
those truly looking to fix bugs in their iOS 5 jailbroken apps.

THIS REDSN0W WILL NOT HACTIVATE 5.0b1!
You need to be an iOS developer with a registered UDID to get past all
the new activation screens. PLEASE DON’T PIRATE APPLE SOFTWARE! Only
registered devs with Macs can develop iOS applications, and only those
people will have legitimate access to the beta IPSWs.
THIS
IS A TETHERED JAILBREAK ONLY! No new exploits are being exposed with
this jailbreak (it uses geohot’s limera1n bootrom exploit), but that
comes at a cost. You will need to use redsn0w to “Just boot tethered
now” to be able to use many things, including Cydia and Safari. If
you see a white icon for Cydia, or if Cydia or Safari crash when you
open them, it’s because you didn’t boot tethered.
The
way redsn0w works, you will very likely be able to use this on
upcoming iOS5 betas, just by continuing to point redsn0w at the 5.0b1
IPSW. So keep that IPSW handy!

Step 1: Triple click the home button to activate Voice Over
Step 2: Triple click the home button and Emergency Call will appear.
Step 3: Click on Emergency Call and, while it's switching, swipe with your three fingers down.
Step 4: The Notification Center will appear!
Step 5: Click on the Weather widget and wait for the weather app to load.
Step 6: Click on the home button to exit to the iPhone's springboard.

It was only yesterday when Apple released iTunes 10.3
which brings iCloud features to iTunes and OTA downloads. Today Apple
has pushed another updated of iTunes. iTunes 10.3.1 brings fixes for
some minor bugs.
There's no specific changelog for that update and we can't give actual
word about what minor bugs have been fixed. For jailbreakers, it's safe
to download and use it.

Yesterday at WWDC 2011, Apple announced (amongst many other things)
iOS 5, the upcoming version of iOS that’s to be released with the iPhone
5 later this year. iOS Developers and certain tech bloggers have been
given access to this build, and we’re sure one of the biggest question
the hordes of iPhone users around the world are asking is: Will my
Gevey-3G unlock SIM interposer work???

As we all know, today in the morning Apple makes an announcement of
the launch of iOS 5 at WWDC and after completing the keynote, they kick
out the first beta of iOS 5 to the developers. But while watching the
all new features of iOS 5 in the keynote, people are curious to know

iSSH icons? How about the Reminders and Newstand apps, see those? What
you're looking at is the harmonious coexistence of hacks and Apple's
virgin iOS 5 beta release running on a 4th generation iPod touch. In
other words, MuscleNerd and Co are letting us know that iOS5 presents
few surprises so far when its comes to closing the existing

Today at WWDC
2011, Steve Jobs took the wraps off iOS5, the next major release of
the operating system used by iPhones, iPod Touch, and iPads. According
to Apple, iOS5 has over 200 new user features and 1500 new developer

Apple today announced iOS 5, Mac OS X
10.7 Lion, and iCloud. They’ve released a number of things, including
the iOS 5 betas, which you’ll be able to download in this post  . Keep in mind that your iDevice will need
to be activated. Go to iOS
Activations for that. Install a beta on a non-activated device will
render it useless.
