We’ve already reported a rumor says that iPhone 5 is launching in US on September 5 and internationally on October 5. Today, the ChinaTimes (a trusted source) reports that the iPhone 5 is launching second week of September with an initial order of 4 million units.

A mid September launch lines up nicely with current expectations for the iPhone 5 release. Apple has held an iPod media event in September for the past 3 years. With no iPhone release during this year’s WWDC, Apple is expected to include the iPhone launch at this September event alongside the public release of iOS 5.
The report also claims that the next iPad may be delayed until Thanksgiving due to component shortages. We hope to see iOS 5 release first then followed by iPhone 5 launch.
And let’s see if 35% of US consumers are ready to buy the iPhone 5 without even seeing it or not..
